On March 27th, The British Society of the Shroud of Turin released a trailer for an upcoming film by BAFTA Award winning Director David Rolfe. The trailer focuses on the song “Who Can He Be,” written by David Rolfe, and showcases the story behind the Shroud of Turin by using imagery of the cloth.

Rolfe explains his choice of song and imagery, “Most good films have a song in them somewhere, and I did not want my new film on the Shroud to be missing anything, so I sat down to write some lyrics for the first time. I pondered for about 5 minutes on where to start, and, naturally enough, the biblical account of the passion sprung into my mind. I started to write, and within 10 minutes, I had finished. It just flowed. Whether they are any good or not, you can be the judge. I sent them to my daughter, Sophie, and asked her to set them to music. Who Can He Be? will be released this Easter via streaming on whocanhebe.com If you like the song and the trailer, please share it.” David Rolfe.

Experience The Lyrics

The song was performed by Sophy Purnell, composed by Sophie Breakenridge, arranged and produced by Mic Burns, and the lyrics written by David Rolfe. The entire film will be available to stream around Easter; stay tuned for more content.
